Before you come in
Do I need a doctor's prescription for a blood test?
No, not for routine tests like CBC, sugar, thyroid, lipid profile or vitamin D. Bring one if you have it, because it helps us run exactly what your doctor wants. For pregnancy scans and some hormone tests, a prescription is needed.
Do you collect blood samples from home?
Yes. Tell us your tests, address and a preferred time on WhatsApp or by phone, and we will confirm a slot. Home collection is available around Madhyamgram and Chinar Park.
How much does a test cost?
Message us the test names on WhatsApp, or tick them on this site and press Book. We reply with the exact price before you come in.
Which tests need fasting?
Fasting blood sugar needs 8–10 hours and a lipid profile 10–12 hours without food. Water is fine. Thyroid, HbA1c, vitamin D, CBC and most hormone tests do not need fasting. Each test on this site shows its own preparation.
How should I prepare for an ultrasound?
For a whole-abdomen USG, come 6 hours fasting with a full bladder. For a pelvic or early pregnancy scan, drink 4–5 glasses of water an hour before and do not pass urine. A transvaginal scan (TVS) needs an empty bladder.
Is Sparsha Diagnostic part of Sparsha IVF?
Yes. Sparsha Diagnostic Centre is the testing and ultrasound wing of Sparsha IVF & Infertility Centre, founded by Dr. Debalina Brahma. It runs in Madhyamgram and Chinar Park, so fertility and pregnancy tests are done by the same team that treats you.
What are your timings?
Madhyamgram: Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6:30 pm, closed Sunday. Chinar Park: open daily, 9 am to 9 pm. Timings can change on holidays, so call ahead on festival days.
